What is Salicylic Acid Peel & how does it work?

Salicylic Acid is technically derived from willow tree bark and it is a type of phenolic acid and
beta hydroxy acid and it appears as Colourless, odourless and crystalline organic acid.
It acts as a natural exfoliant that removes dead cells leaving the skin surface smoother, controls
excess oil production and prevents bores from clogging the skin (blackheads and whiteheads),
as it has anti-inflammatory, helps skin inflammation cause by acne/pimples, clears up the
bacteria and prevents future breakout.

What are the pre and post procedure care?

Trichloroacetic peel is derived from acetic acid, a derivative of vinegar. The availability of
concentration ranges from 15 to 70%, from light to medium.

It is applied to the outer layer of the skin, helps to exfoliate dead cells, reduces the appearance
of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, melasma, freckles, flat warts, skin laxity, acne scars and
photodamage skin, and reveals healthier skin. Medium strength is commonly used which
requires some downtime, at the same time, offers significant improvements to the skin
appearance.

While lower concentration provides more subtle changes in the skin, higher concentrations
improve significantly overall skin tone & texture, reduce acne scars, melasma,
hyperpigmentation. Atrophic acne scar, also commonly called icepick or boxcar scars, can be
treated with high concentrations of TCA using the cross technique. It targeted each individual
depression scars to reconstruct tissue and even out the skin. This can be repeated every few
weeks over the course of several months.

sauna, do not pick at or peel the skin when flaking, hydrating your skin using a good amount of

Lighter peels can take 2 to 3 weeks, Medium peel can be taken every 2 to 4 months,
